Brick progress (part 2)

Ground floor bricking has continued throughout the previous week and the upstairs plumbing has been connected.

This coming week the scaffolding will be erected on Monday, gutters and fascia installed on Tuesday, roofing beginning on Wednesday. The following week will see the brickies back to finish off the top floor, balcony and other left over bits at the rear of the house.

  1. Hi there! looking great. Could I ask you if everything ok with the plumbing, I have read in other blog about problems with the plumbing going over dinning room, or having to hide it which take some space...
I think that with the distribution of the Majestic, it should be ok, just want to reassure this.
Also, Have you met your SS?

    cheers

  2. Yes, the plumbing is all running through the floor joists without any additional bulkheads. The only thing that's a bit crappy is when we moved our home theatre to the front of the house they didn't move the downpipe, it's still in the old location which is now inside a wardrobe in my study. It doesn't look like it'll take much space, but it's not on the plans. I'm not going to bother arguing about it as it's right in the corner - hopefully the frame/gyprock they cover it with will be as close as possible.
